Organized by Living Vessels Outreach Ghana , The Girl Child Empowered project transformed the lives of 300 young girls from Wenchi Yoyoano Methodist, Hansua K. Twi School, and Apenteng Fosu School in Wenchi and Techiman. This initiative addressed two critical areas: education and menstrual hygiene. The girls received school supplies, textbooks, tutoring support, and workshops to boost their academic performance and skills. In addition, sanitary pads and hygiene kits were provided, promoting menstrual health and breaking stigmas around menstruation. The project significantly improved access to education, increased confidence in menstrual management, and fostered a sense of belonging and empowerment, equipping the girls to thrive in both academic and personal pursuits
